Clean Import Oy – 100% Finnish family company – Since 1991

In 1991, Finland was in the grip of a recession. One of the worst economic crises in Finnish history struck like lightning and it overthrew people, companies, and banks. Life was not a treat, had to adapt to unstable conditions. In the middle of this unstable musk, our hard-working company Clean Import was also born in 1991. Our founder, Ahti Mäenpää, was at the helm at the time, and Ahti has said, “We are one example that difficult times are also a great opportunity. When life feels unfair, one must open our hearts to change, not give up ”. Today, Clean Import continues to operate as an importer, wholesaler, and manufacturer in the Cleaning and Property Management sector. Today the company is lead by Mikko Mäenpää, who is the son of Ahti Mäenpää. The same perseverance is still our values, but it is not enough to save our businesses, with the same perseverance we must, among other things, cherish our common heritage, our beautiful planet where we all live!
